Rootsi keele kursused
Want to learn Swedish quickly, or take it slow? Looking to speak it or just answer emails? Aiming to read or to talk? Learn from a textbook or from life itself? Or pick it up through song? You don't need a good singing voice — songs are a comfortable way to learn, the words seem to stick on their own :-) Get in touch and we'll figure out which method, group and pace works for you.

One-to-one tuition — a three-week beginner crash course. Course length: 24 academic hours = 12 sessions of 1.5h. Price: €240, or €190 if you register during September. Schedule: we agree on time and frequency at the start so it fits you — daytime or evening. Location: anywhere in Tallinn, or online.
After the beginner course you'll be able to introduce yourself within the vocabulary covered, talk about friends and family, describe your home and the things in it, chat about the weather, time, free time and hobbies, ask the price of goods and shop, talk about Sweden, greet and say goodbye, hold a phone conversation, ask for directions, use travel phrases, and write a letter.
Grammar covers: pronouns, numerals and nouns, word order, en/ett word groups, negation, numbers, country and nationality names, plurals, questions, the possessive, short answers, impersonal speech, the ma-infinitive, auxiliary verbs, adjectives, the future, the imperative, the past, and irregular verbs.
An advanced-level reading course where we work through the Swedish novel "Grabben i graven bredvid" together and watch the film made from the book at the end. Each week you get the chapter's vocabulary with translations to make reading easier, you can always ask the teacher about words or expressions in chat, and we meet once a week to discuss what we've read. The course runs on a monthly fee that depends on the number of participants — we start the book in May, so bring a friend along :-) Monthly cost with at least five participants: €60, includes a copy of the book, reading support and weekly conversation lessons. Snacks during the film not included :-)
Note: reading from a children's book for beginners if there's interest. Same price.
